A licensed U.S. customs brokerage run by a named broker — so you always know who owns your entry.
Audrey and Mauricio lead AP Customs, supported by the wider team. Our work focuses on your documents, filings, and shipment needs.

Brokerage oversight is provided by Mauricio Larenas, a Licensed U.S. Customs Broker holding CBP License CHB #42750. When you have a question about a classification, a hold, or a bond, you're talking to the broker whose license the entry is filed under — not a coordinator relaying it to someone you never meet.
That's the whole point of naming him here. A customs entry is a legal act with a responsible party behind it. On this practice, that party has a name and a face. Read Mauricio's full profile.
U.S. Customs House Broker License — CHB #42750
Issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Broker license status is public record and can be verified through CBP.
AP Customs LLC is a licensed U.S. customs brokerage focused on import clearance, ISF filing, CBP exam coordination, and compliance support for freight forwarders, NVOCCs, and importers.
It was built around a single question a client should always be able to answer: who owns the next step? On most shipments, delays don't come from a hard classification call — they come from nobody being sure whose job it was to confirm the ISF data, chase the missing document, or tell the importer the cargo cleared. We built the practice so that ownership is never in doubt.
Our clients are mostly businesses moving cargo for others: freight forwarders who need a brokerage partner that won't solicit their accounts, NVOCCs running import operations for their own customers, and importers who want the entry filed right the first time.
Every entry goes through a defined intake and review before it reaches CBP. We compare the commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading against each other so a mismatched value, quantity, or party is caught at the desk instead of showing up later as a CF-28. Classification, country of origin, and bond sufficiency are checked before filing, not after a hold.
Technology handles the repetitive comparisons so a licensed broker's time goes to the decisions that actually need judgment. You see the result — filings that hold up and clear communication about where a shipment stands — not the tooling behind it.
We work with importers filing a handful of entries a month and with forwarders running higher volume and more complex documentation. The review process is the same either way; what changes is how much of it we automate.
Mauricio serves as Secretary of the Executive Board of the Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association (FCBF), which keeps the practice close to the enforcement conversations shaping how cargo moves through South Florida — PortMiami, Port Everglades, and MIA air cargo.
He also leads AP Tariffs, an FMC tariff-publishing and NVOCC compliance company supporting U.S. and foreign NVOCCs with tariff publication, FMC registration, bonds, and rate-filing support. That work sits next to the brokerage: the same operators who need an ocean tariff published often need their U.S. customs entries filed, and both sides benefit from a broker who understands the FMC and CBP requirements together rather than in isolation.
